Kenya Psychiatry Association (KPA) Celebrates Prof. Muthoni Mathai. She is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Nairobi.
She has extensive years in practising and teaching Mental Health and Psychiatry, as well as mentoring many in the field. She has also had a hand in the extensive research in Mental Health in Kenya and parts of Africa.
Dr. Sarah Deland together with the Chairman Department of Psychiatry Prof. Anne Obondo and Dr. Teresia Mutavi visited Mathari Teaching and Referral Hospital.They were welcomed by Dr. Karaja the acting CEO and other staffs from the hospital.
Dr. Teresia Mutavi attends a seminar on Trauma- Focused Cognitive Therapy and Counselling supervision seminar with other International Justice Mission counselors at Enashipai in Naivasha from 24th- 26th March, 2022.
Dr. Pius Kigamwa was celebrated by Kenya Psychiatric Association (KPA) for having been in medical practice for close to 40 years.
Dr. Kigamwa is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry.
He has contributed significantly in the mental health space.
