The Impact of
Violence on Women‘s Health

"There is one universal truth, applicable to all countries, cultures and communities: violence against women is never acceptable, never excusable, never tolerable." (Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon)
Throughout the ages, women face physical and psychological violence regardless of their age, sexual orientation, religion and social or cultural background. As in many other countries, domestic violence is still a taboo subject in Kenya.
