In its role in the implementation of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 Phase II, the College of Health Sciences on 28th September 2013 held a medical camp at the Nairobi Calvary Temple located in Buruburu. Led by thePrincipal, CHS, Prof Isaac Kibwage, the Dean Prof. Omwandho and chairman of the department of Psychiatry, Dr. Mary Kuria, a team of Health professionals who included College staff, senior students and alumni participated.

The Medical experts attended to 814 patients. This included patients who received counseling for different health and social/behavioral problems exceeding the proposed target of 500. The event was held in partnership with Nairobi Calvary Temple, KEMSA, KEMRI and Liverpool VCT.

This was part of the University of Nairobi's core value of Responsible Corporate Citizenship and Strong Social Responsibility.
