The Department of Mental Health, Kenyatta National Hospital's newly admitted students of Clinical Psychology paid a visit to the Resource Center on 2nd February, 2015, and were oriented to the various services and facilities available.

This is part of the collaboration between the University of Nairobi, College of Health Sciences and the Hospital, which is also the teaching hospital of the University's Health Sciences.

The students are were introduced to the latest books in the field of Clinical Psychology and Research, journals and theses, all which are available for their referencing and development of their research topics. Besides the hard copies of these materials, the Resource Center has state of the art computers which are internet enabled and are fitted with the latest softwares for research and analysis. The computers have extensive databases of electronic journals and have access to international e-repositories of medical journals and books.

Speaking during the orientation, the Research Coordinator George Khamati, who is in-charge of the Resource Center, implored upon the students to make maximum use of the center and welcomed them for consultations on their research work.

The students were also shown the newly established Skills Lab and how it is used.
